OPERATIONAL COMPLIANCE AUDITING

FACILITY COMPLIANCE AUDITS

Do you ever worry about what would happen if an inspector walked into your facility unannounced? Do you ever worry about what would happen if your company ever falls under an investigation by the state or local licensing authority?

If the answer is no, then more power to ya!

If the answer is yes, then let’s set up a facility audit and figure out what needs to be fixed! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure more times than not.

    • We leverage our experience navigating some of the most regulated markets in the US to help you and your team be prepared not only for an inspection but an investigation. Our auditing services take a more hands-on approach than other consulting firms because we know what it’s like to be caught doing something you’re not supposed to do, and ignorance is not a defense. Learn from our mistakes and protect your brand and license from costly fines, violations, or recalls.

    • Facility compliance audits are the best way to start building a relationship with our clients. By identifying non-compliant issues before the state or local authorities, we can help ensure your company creates a track record of compliance that can and will come in handy if the shit ever hits the fan. If you operate long enough, you can almost guarantee the shit will eventually hit the fan.

    • We can work with your compliance team on the audits or your operational team if the two are one and the same. We treat this time with the team as more of a training session by adding valuable context and the always important ‘WHY’ to any non-compliant issue found.

    • Our audit reports always include why you have to make a change, how you make the change, and what could happen if you don’t make that change.

    • Our audits cover every aspect of a potential inspection and address anything that could be involved in an investigation if the proverbial shit does ever hit the fan.

  • New in 2022!

Colorado HB 22-1222 was signed into law on April 21st, 2022.

    • This bill allows the mitigating factor to be applied to the business license holder and the employee license holder.

    • It also allows employees with a valid certificate of completion from an RVT provider to attach the certificate to their resumé.

    • What these new rules mean for stores is now, they don’t have to re-train employees within their first 90 days of hire if the employee already has a valid certificate of completion.

  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation approved Responsible Vendor Training Provider - say that five times fast!

    • Compliant with IDFPR requirements for annual RVT for all Illinois dispensary employees.

  • Training is divided into three modules:

    • Responsible Vendor Training

    • Delivery Permit Holder Training

    • Hospitality Establishment Training

Our RVT program can be administered in person, via live webinar, or online in a self-guided format that is easily accessible on any phone, tablet, or computer.

***No training is needed to access and complete the training, and progress is automatically saved, so if you need to stop and start the training, you can at your convenience.

Depending on your needs, these can be combined to form a unique learning path.
