Konopé's Philosophy

I wanted to take some time to explain why I started this company, what I want it to stand for and how I hope to get there.

First and foremost, I believe in education. Now more than ever, the industry needs to take advantage of every opportunity to learn as much as possible about this unusual plant. We are only scratching the surface. I want Konopé to be about educating the industry and helping spread knowledge to as many employees as possible so that in turn the dispensaries can inform the public as accurately as possible, which will, in turn, change the stereotype on cannabis and people who consume it.

Secondly, I want Konopé to help bridge the gap between compliance and convenience. For most companies, 99%, the intent to comply is always there. Whether or not they are aware they are doing things non-compliantly or not is irrelevant to the MED or CDPHE or local authorities. Especially with the City of Denver. I digress.

The point is, with education we can help make companies aware of their shortcomings, fix them, and empower them to do it themselves next time. The more compliant we all are, as an industry, the better off we are as a movement. Make no mistake, we have a long way to go before this cannabis plant is regulated as it should be. However, with every bad apple comes two steps backward in the eyes of the public looking in.

Last, Konopé should be known for trust. I completely understand that without trust, I have no business. I believe that part of my success can be attributed to how much I cared for the companies I worked for. I will approach your problems like they are my own. That is the only way I know how to do it. I know first hand how much is on the line when it comes to a cannabis license. I won't take for granted the fact that ultimately, hiring a consultant means trusting your company in the hands of an outsider.

Our Responsible Vendor Training Program is designed to get your staff trained on everything they need to know to be prepared for an inspection from the MED. It is the most recent RVT program approved by the MED and CDPHE and in my humble opinion, the most comprehensive.

We off the RVT program in person with myself teaching the class that is offered online but with a more in-depth conversation with staff on how these rules apply in real time.

Consulting is something that will require the most trust. I want to make clear that Konopé Compliance is not in the business of helping you grow a better cannabis plant. We are not going to consult on creating a better infused product or concentrate. We will not attempt to train your employees on identifying an indica or sativa flower or what strain is best for a particular ailment.

I think Konopé can provide training that can be applied to any store dispensing cannabis because it is about the regulations. Plain and simple, compliantly selling cannabis to the public as safely as possible. I think there are plenty of opportunities to grow the training into other areas, but for now, I want to focus on compliance and helping as many businesses as possible understand what is required of them by their particular state and local authority.

There is nothing more satisfying than having the peace of mind that your business and employees are protected from violations or infractions because you have built a culture of compliance that will ensure your business is around for a long time. Or, if you are looking to sell, a license and brand with no violations or infractions is a better investment then a license that has blemishes on their record.

Konopé Compliance can help give you that peace of mind. Get in touch with us today.
